Hi, I'm Helen.

After more than three decades of teaching, life unexpectedly led me into a season of change, reinvention, and courage.

What started as a van build project slowly became something much bigger — a journey back to myself.

I’ve taught in schools across Queensland and London, spent years building a meaningful life, and I’m now discovering that it’s never too late to begin a whole new chapter.

This space is where I’ll share the adventures along the way — from the different stages of my van build and future solo travels, to reflections on life, freedom, growth, and starting again.

And of course, my beautiful Kelpies, Jack and Jill, will be joining me for many of the adventures too.

So whether you’re here for the van build, the future road trips, hiking inspiration, or simply because you’re navigating your own next chapter too… welcome.
